Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has blasted critics after she was labeled a “bull in a china shop” on Fox News Thursday.
Journalist Charles Payne, normally seen on Fox Business Network, suggested freshman Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez “just want to create havoc” in Congress.
Payne was discussing how the newly-blue House of Representatives might put pressure on President Donald Trump with Washington Examiner’s Phil Wegmann. Twitter users recently lashed out at fellow Examiner reporter Eddie Scarry, when he shared a photo of Ocasio-Cortez in a "creepy" tweet about her clothes.
“Older, established Democrats” like Maxine Waters want to investigate Trump’s past business dealings," he said. “Whereas the upstarts, the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s of the world, maybe they just don’t know, they’re like bulls in a china shop, they just want to create havoc."
Ocasio-Cortez responded to the Fox News broadcast on Twitter, criticizing “the same folks who bow to Trump.” “The idea that [they] are clutching at their pearls is laughable,” she wrote. “That’s how they should feel.
“I’m fine being called a bull in a china shop, because politics that answers to special interests more than the American people *should* be disrupted.”
This isn’t the first time the congresswoman-elect has sparred with Fox News talking heads. On November 14, Fox News host Laura Ingraham attacked Ocasio-Cortez’s “wacky” views during a segment criticizing her and fellow House freshmen Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley.
Ingraham denounced “radical” policies the women support, including free healthcare and free college education for all. “These women may as well be the four horsemen of the apocalypse for the Democratic Party if you ask me,” Ingraham said.
Ocasio-Cortez responded by sharing a Fox News screenshot to Instagram with the comment, “Fox News discovered our vast conspiracy to take care of children and save the planet.”
The youngest woman ever elected to Congress, fans of Ocasio-Cortez watch her regular Instagram Live cooking videos in their droves. The politician discusses politics, answers questions, and shares recipes in the videos some users have compared to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s legendary “fireside chats.”
“Currently watching the latest Instagram live story from @Ocasio2018 and she addressed a question I asked on faith and politics, and it's just so great to be able to interact with a politician like this,” wrote Twitter user Micah Wimmer on Wednesday.
“I truly hope that this is the future of politics,” added user Chris Brackett.
But others are less impressed with Ocasio-Cortez’s use of social media. “Real accomplishment comes with age and maturity and years of work,” one user commented. “ I’m...old and find the constant navel gazing on her social uninteresting. Go make some policy happen,” wrote another.

  1. If these lunatics think the working class will be de facto slaves to the give me give mes...they are mistaken. The working class will not work to have the same standard of living as the freeloaders...and their entire dream of milking the white worker will collapse and the US will become like Africa..then the give me give mes will have to invade another culture to rob them

  2. It's not arrogance, but Truth, when we say, "When the U.S. sneezes, the whole world catches cold." - because without the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Bill of Rights, the whole world will fall. THese are the reasons, the rest of the world has advanced so much in Human Rights, and Women Rights, and Child Protection Laws. Japan didn't have basic rights for the Common Man (today, a company executive or a corp. owner, can slave their female secretary, with impunity), nor the Middle East, or or India, or even Haiti or Brazil and Mexico. And now that the Europeans have been kicked out of these countries, they've reverted to slavery and savagery (yes, there's slavery even in India and Haiti, child slavery. And in Brazil, children are hunted and slaughtered. And the Indigenous, also. In Mexico and Peru, Human sacrifice, has continued. In Africa, Inter-tribal wars, and macheteing each other, slavery and cannibalism have been re-instated. In the Mideast, slavery ...female and child sex slavery continues. God forbid a woman goes alone in Afghanistan, or even a young man.)

So, yes, the U.S. culture, is the MOST Glorious in the world. We're lost without it!
