  1. This helps :::The Government Pension Fund Global, also known as the Oil Fund, was established in 1990 to invest the surplus revenues of the Norwegian petroleum sector. It has over US$1 trillion in assets, including 1.3% of global stocks and shares, making it the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund.[1] In May 2018 it was worth about $195,000 per Norwegian citizen

  3. If by "Unfettered Capitalism" you mean "Banking and Corporate Fascism" then the poster might have some truth in it. And speaking of truth, the truth is, what the US has is not even close to actual, free-market capitalism. The US has one of the most centrally controlled, and un-free markets in the world.

  4. Let's all migrate to Norway! Bet they could use some cultural enrichment, too. Are they taking in their fair share of Afghans and Somalians? How about them Central and West Africans? Can never get enough of those. Make migration great again!

  5. They fail to mention the 25% sales tax in Norway. If you factor this in, every dollar after income taxes, is also taxed 25% when you make a purchase. Not very good for buying power.

  6. How about a comparison of minority population and illegal population?

  7. While we're at it, let's add 320 million more people to the Norwegian 'model', 30,000,000 of which aren't even registered as being there, and let that stew for a few years. The Norwegians would be rioting in the streets. Incredibly bad "comparison" of the two nations. Oh, just for the Green New Deal crowd, 90%....that's NINETY percent of Norway's economy is derived from Petroleum product production.
