CNN’s Ana Navarro mocks President Trump’s intellect in a tweet with two spelling errors

Ana Navarro, after watching a clip of 2020 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg speaking in French about the fire at Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, took a shot a President Trump, saying “Just imagine having a President whose intellect exceeds that of a root vegetable”:
Today, I saw a video clip of @PeteButtigieg playing classical piano. Another were he speaks in Spanish. And this one, were he tells Parisians, he shares their pain -in French. Just imagine having a President whose intellect exceeds that of a root vegetable...for a change.

You know, it’s never a good idea to mock someone else’s intellect and then not spellcheck your tweet before hitting send. It’s, of course, “where,” not “were”:
“…Another were he speaks in Spanish. And this one, were he tells Parisians, he shares their pain -in French…”

Oops.
