‘Uh, NO.’ Ted Cruz takes Yahoo News to the SHED for piece claiming he ‘missed AOC’s point’ about croissants and DAMN

It’s interesting how quickly the Leftist media always moves in to try and make AOC look LESS stupid after she’s said something absolutely ludicrous, even at the risk of their own reputations. Although let’s be honest, their reputations went out the window more than a decade ago.
AOC whining about the price of croissants at LaGuardia Airport to make some sort of argument for raising the minimum wage was a dumpster fire of epic proportions and no amount of spinning about mean old Ted Cruz will change that, Yahoo News.
But nice try.
Yahoo News “reports” I missed @aoc point. Uh, no. (1) LaGuardia croissants are $7 BECAUSE it is govt monopoly w/ $19 min wage. (2) Medicare for all promises “free” healthcare by forcing doctors (by analogy, bakers) to give away their labor for govt wages. https://www.yahoo.com/news/aoc-used-a-7-croissant-to-make-argument-for-raising-the-minimum-wage-ted-cruz-missed-the-point-174845833.html?ncid=facebook_yahoonewsf_akfmevaatca
From Yahoo (we know, our bad):
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, seized upon Ocasio-Cortez’s croissant tweet, but he seemed to miss her point.
No, he didn’t. But you be you, Yahoo. They continued.
“Oh the humanity!” Cruz tweeted. “Here’s the answer: government-mandated FREE CROISSANTS FOR ALL. And we’ll just force the bakers to give all of their time for free. #SocialistLogic #AprilFools.”
Good stuff. *shrug*
Ocasio-Cortez and other progressive lawmakers have called for an increase of the nationally mandated minimum wage, which since 2009 has been $7.25 per hour. In recent years, numerous states have raised the minimum wage to $15 per hour.
He knew EXACTLY what he was saying and who he was mocking, thanks, Yahoo.

Good point. The whole piece is sloppy and reads more like a blog which is fine (hello, we’re Twitchy) but don’t blog and pretend you’re a news site. Just sayin’.

Most accurate tweet we’ve seen YET on #CroissantGate.
