Morrissey's Music Banned From 'World's Oldest Record Store' After Wearing Right-Wing Pin On 'Jimmy Fallon'

Musician Morrissey, the former front man for The Smiths, has had his music banned from a famed record store in Wales in the U.K. after he wore a pin supporting a right-wing party on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday.
Morrissey’s music is apparently too dangerous for Spillers, which has been dubbed the oldest record store in the world, over the entertainer’s support for the For Britain Party.
As noted by Huff Post, Morrissey first spoke out about his support for the pro-Britain group in 2018.
“I have been following a new party called For Britain which is led by Anne Marie Waters,” the musician said, according to Tremr. “It is the first time in my life that I will vote for a political party. Finally I have hope. I find the Tory-Labour-Tory-Labour constant switching to be pointless.”
“For Britain has received no media support and have even been dismissed with the usual childish ‘racist’ accusation,” he noted. “I don’t think the word ‘racist’ has any meaning any more, other than to say ‘you don’t agree with me, so you’re a racist.’ People can be utterly, utterly stupid.”
According to For Britain’s website, the party, in part, stands for reduced immigration.

“Immigration to Britain must be dramatically reduced and stability restored,” the site reads. “Each year, 100,000s of people migrate to the UK. Common sense should tell us that this is simply not sustainable. In order to end the housing crisis in the UK, we must reduce demand. This is common sense. Increased population inevitably brings about increased demand for housing, which inevitably drives house prices up. Government after government have failed to address this reality.”
“British law must be upheld and immigration and asylum laws must be applied,” it adds. “Those in the UK illegally should face deportation. All non-British citizens known to be involved in or supportive of jihadism must be deported.”
In April 2018, Morrissey, a vegan, ripped U.K. politicians on the both the Left and the Right over their support for a Muslim food festival that he claims is cruel and unusual.

“Morrissey claims that Halal meat production, which processes animals in accordance with Muslim law, is ‘evil,’ and that Halal accreditation ‘can only be given by supporters of Isis,’” The Daily Wire previously reported.
The Federalist noted on Friday that the ban on Morrissey’s music comes at a time when the issue of free speech has been pushed to the forefront of cultural debate — and it will likely do nothing to stop his appeal. “Part of the reason that (news outlet) Quillette gets so many clicks is that it publishes ‘dangerous’ or ‘unsayable’ ideas. Part of the reason Morrissey still sells out stadiums is that he, too, will not change and will not be nice,” the conservative site argued. ”Like a Jordan Peterson with better hair, he croons his truth and says whatever he pleases in interviews, ever angering the snowflake society that condemns him.”
