Police release video of black murder suspect shooting himself dead in Minneapolis after fake rumor spreads that cops killed him sparking looting and violence (15 Pics)

Minneapolis Police have shared footage of the moment a murder suspect saw police close in on him so he pulled out a gun and committed suicide.
Officers are seen approaching the man, wearing a white shirt, gray pants, a cap, and a black backpack, and a group of nearby people sitting raise their arms in surrender and run away.
When he sees the officers he turns his back towards them, takes out a gun and takes his own life.
Officers did not open fire, Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder said.
Police removed the video from their social media Thursday and tweeted: 'Yesterday MPD posted a video in order to dispel rumors that caused significant public safety concerns for our city. After receiving feedback from the community, we have removed the video due to the graphic nature and out of respect to the individual, his family and the community.'
Mayhem and looting erupted in Minneapolis late Wednesday after false rumors spread that officers had gunned down the suspect.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, and his female associate were in a parking garage where they encountered another man who they allegedly killed.

An immediate curfew was declared and the governor and mayor called for help from the National Guard to stop the shattering of shop windows and ransacking of stores.
Police Chief Medaria Arradondo dispelled misinformation that his officers were involved in the suicide saying the death was not by the officers.

The unrest prompted Gov. Tim Walz to declare a peacetime emergency Wednesday night.
He said the National Board and 150 Minnesota State Patrol troopers were being mobilized to assist local law enforcement.
'Minneapolis, it’s time to heal. We must rebuild and recover. Dangerous, unlawful behavior will not be tolerated. The State Patrol is headed to Minneapolis to help restore order. I remain in close contact with the city and every state resource stands ready to help bring peace,' Walz tweeted.

  2. It is obvious that all the burning, looting, and murdering is being done by outside white supremacist agitators. Logic suggests that they have come into Minnesota from Florida, Arizona, and New Mexico -- at least based on their deeply tanned complexion.
