'It was something out of a movie': Man who was attacked by deranged 'Karen' who threw an adorable puppy at him says he's thankful for the ordeal because he's now adopted the dog - and named her Movie!

A puppy that went viral after being hurled by a 'racist Karen' at a black man has now been adopted – and has a new Pomeranian-Husky brother too.

Abel Goshu, 20, told DailyMail.com he was accosted by the disturbed woman as he sat in his car in Los Angeles on October 10, and was shocked when she threw the Belgian Malinois puppy she was carrying at him.

He filmed the incident and it went viral after he posted it online.

'I was sitting in my car, parked. She popped up out nowhere,' he said.

'She was holding the dog and talking about some kind of political stuff, I don’t even know what she was saying.

'She started hitting my car, so I started recording. Then she reached in through my window and tried to slap me.'

Goshu has now adopted the Belgian Malinois puppy and named her Movie. He said he's happy to give Movie a 'happy ending'

'I named her Movie. It just fit because of the situation. It was unreal like something out of a movie. Her life is a lot better now, a happy ending,' he told DailyMail.com

Goshu, a Chicago-based rapper, said he got out of his white Mercedes and asked her where she got the dog – trying to find out if the strangely-acting woman had stolen it.

'When I asked her if the dog was hers, she threw it at me,' he said.

'I was just angry. It didn’t make sense to me. I didn’t do anything to provoke her.'

Goshu told DailyMail.com his first thought was to protect the puppy, despite the woman continuing to berate him with mad ramblings and racist insults.

'She was definitely racist. Before I recorded she was talking about how I was black and in a Mercedes,' he said.

'I’m really confused about her. I don’t know what to think. I can’t tell if she was on drugs, really drunk or mentally ill. It’s hard to tell what the situation is in the moment.

'I felt bad for her but once she threw the dog then it got serious.

'The first thing I did was pick up the dog, make sure she was ok, and took her with me.

'I named her Movie. It just fit because of the situation. It was unreal like something out of a movie. Her life is a lot better now – it’s kind of like a happy ending.'

Video went viral of the woman assaulting Goshu and then hurling her puppy straight at him as the dog whimpers in distress

Goshu said Movie has settled into her new life, and is now firm friends with his other dog, a Pomeranian Husky named Pluto

The 20-year-old, who raps under the name Glo Mula, was visiting LA for a music deal and said he only came across the crazed woman because he missed his flight.

Goshu said the lucky Movie has settled into her new life, and is now firm friends with his other dog, a Pomeranian Husky named Pluto.

A video obtained by DailyMail.com shows the two puppies playing in Goshu's kitchen, tails wagging.

The Chicago rapper said he was inundated with offers of financial support for Movie from both friends and strangers when his video of the bizarre and distressing incident went viral.

'There were a lot of people hitting me up where to send donations. I didn’t answer anyone because it was too much, so I set up a GoFundMe,' he said.

The charity page has now raised over $8,000 for Movie.

Goshu said he plans to move to LA with his two dogs, where Movie can continue her 'happy ever after'.
