Arkansas man with an 8-foot black Santa in his yard receives racist letter in his mailbox ordering him to take down the decoration and move out of the neighborhood

An Arkansas man has been left stunned after receiving a letter from an anonymous neighbor ordering him to take down an 8-foot black Santa Claus decoration he erected in his front yard.

Chris Kennedy, who lives in the Little Rock neighborhood of Lakewood, found the nasty note in his mailbox on Monday, shortly after he put up the festive inflatable in a bid to bring cheer to locals struggling in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

'It left me extremely angry,' Kennedy told FOX 16 on Wednesday, describing the message as 'racist'.

The letter was penned in the voice of a Santa Claus, and read: 'Please remove your n**** Santa. You should not try to deceive children into believing that I am a n****.

'I am caucasian (white man to you) and have been for 600 years. You being jealous of my race is no excuse for dishonesty. Besides that, you are making yourself the laughing stock of the neighborhood.

Obviously, your values are not that of the Lakewood area and maybe you should move to a neighborhood out east with the rest of your racist kind. Yours truly, Santa Claus.'

The sender also attached a full-page photo of a white Santa Claus.

Kennedy says he has no clue who the letter could have come from, but says he was surprised to be on the receiving end of such hatred, given he erects the black Santa each and every year

'The children love it and that's what Christmas is about, it's about children,' he stated.

The Little Rock local has received an outpouring of support from others in his community who say they love the festive inflatable.

One fan even left a sign outside the home, which read: 'Black, White or Neither - You are loved in Lakewood. Long Live Black Santa!'

  1. Another absolute bullcrap skillet move. He knew enough not to use his own handwriting. But he probably doesn't know printers leave a code

  2. Someone must be supersensitive to see that slightly suntanned Santa as black. To me he just looks as though he has come back from his summer holiday.
