Six people, including two children, rescued from a U-haul after calling police from INSIDE the truck

 Six people including two children have been rescued from the back of a U-Haul moving truck after police received a 911 call from inside the back of the vehicle. 

The six passengers willingly got into the back of the box truck in Toms River, New Jersey but alerted police after the driver refused to pull over and let them out, authorities say.  

Driver John Williams, 46, of Kingston, New York was arrested and charged with child endangerment and false imprisonment, police said on Monday.

Kidnapping and human trafficking charges were ruled out.

They stopped the van on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River at around 12.15pm near mile-post 84.9

'The 911 call did come from inside the U-Haul. Troopers located and did stop the vehicle and inside they found four adults and two juveniles,' New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez said
