'Bossed around by pr***s!' Mick Jagger SLAMS the government, bemoans weight gain, blasts anti-vaxxers and sings about Bill Gates in pandemic-themed Dave Grohl duet

Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl have released a powerful new song addressing various elements of the pandemic, including a slight on the government.

The Rolling Stones frontman, 77, branded the powers that be 'pr***s' as he belted out Easy Sleazy while playing guitar alongside the Foo Fighters legend, 52, and touching on various sensitive issues suffered through the past year.

Speaking about the track, Mick said: 'It’s a song that I wrote about coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism. Thanks to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with him. Hope you all enjoy it'.

Mick and Dave proved themselves to be true rockers in the video as they thrashed about with the former at home and the latter in the Foo Fighters studio.

Dave said of the track: 'It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir Mick means to me. It’s beyond a dream come true. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier......and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!!'

The message will no doubt rouse feelings in many, with many of the topics being easily relatable to people following the many troubles of 2020 and 2021.

Mick sings about zoom calls, feeling you are in prison walls, 'poncey' books, fake applause at sporting matches and watching too much television.

'It sounded really good and I thought, 'You gotta put it out now because it's not gonna be any good in three or six months. The whole year, we've been doing this and going through different emotions through it and having false starts and stops.

'End of last summer, everything seemed to be going well and people were out and about and great, and then – especially in Europe – everything's shut down again and you haven't had any kind of social interaction...
