  1. Poor reasoning, false dichotomy -- not every conspiracy requires absolute control of the world. There can be a conspiracy to rig the stock market, another to overthrow a government, another to prevent a union of workers from forming, another... etc.

    Approximately one third of all Federal prisoners are in jail for conviction on a conspiracy charge. If conspiracies don't exist, the only way to explain that huge number would be to posit some even more vast conspiracy of jurists and lawyers.
