'Sometimes you meet the most pleasant #Trump supporters': Michael Cohen shames female MAGA fan who gave him the bird and 'screamed profanities' in Central Park

An apparent Donald Trump supporter has been filmed flipping the bird at Michael Cohen in footage shot by the president's former fixer on Monday.

Sharing the clip to Twitter, Cohen wrote: 'Sometimes you meet the most pleasant #Trump supporters in #NYC #CentralPark.'

Cohen - who was sentenced to three years in prison in 2018 for tax evasion and violating campaign finance laws - said he had been listening to music when the unidentified woman ran at him 'screaming profanities'.

He said he then caught up to her and recorded their interaction.  In the eight second clip Cohen can be heard saying: 'Let's make you famous. Let's make you famous.'

The woman then flips the bird at him.

After sharing the footage, Cohen replied to followers on Twitter who supported him.

He wrote: 'Just taking a leisurely walk in the park, listening to @amazonmusic when this elegant, articulate #Trump supporter began cursing at me.'

Others said he was a 'creep' for following a woman in a public park.

He replied to those questioning the video, telling one: 'There would be no recording if you just minded your own business and kept their vile opinions to yourself.'

Cohen told The New York Daily News: '(She) runs at me screaming profanities and sticking her middle fingers in my face.

'I removed my cell phone from my pocket, caught up to her and recorded her.'

Cohen claims it is the second time he has been approached by the jogger. He said: 'The first time this occurred, she stated 'on behalf of all Trump supporters' and then the F bombs.'

Cohen is allowed to take a walk in Central Park under the conditions of his home confinement after being released from prison in July last year.

He was one of Trump's closest associates for a decade, once proudly boasting that he was prepared to 'take a bullet' for the real estate mogul-turned-president.

But he turned against his former boss, deciding to collaborate with federal investigators in Manhattan.

During a Congressional hearing in February 2019, Cohen alleged - among other things - that Trump regularly undervalued or overvalued his assets, both with banks and insurance companies.

Cohen claims it is the second time he has been approached by the jogger. He said: 'The first time this occurred, she stated ‘on behalf of all Trump supporters’ and then the F bombs'

The former president was pictured arriving at Trump Tower in Manhattan on Monday morning just days after Democrat New York Attorney General Letitia James announced a criminal probe into his business.

Cohen said Monday: 'I do believe that indictments will be issued shortly, and definitely before summer's end.'

There are also mounting questions over whether Trump's long-time CFO Allen Weisselberg will turn on him. Weisselberg, long considered to be Trump's right-hand man with finances, is now facing two criminal investigations into his actions.

James' office has been investigating alleged civil tax offenses by Trump's business empire since 2019, but last week ramped up the probe to make it criminal.

Trump tore into the James' actions, accused her of orchestrating a witch hunt since she came into office and said she should focus on fixing the surge in crime in New York City.

On Thursday, Weisselberg former daughter-in-law Jennifer said he would 'definitely' flip on the president and former Trump Organization executive Barbara Res said she believes he is already cooperating with prosecutors.

Cohen said on Wednesday he expects Trump to flip on his own family.

'I think Donald Trump is going to flip on all of them,' he told Joy Reid. 'What do you think about that? Including his children.'

He explained: 'I really believe that Donald Trump cares for only himself, and he realizes that his goose is cooked,' so when he will be asked about the Trump Organization's finances he will blame everyone else.

'It's never Donald,' Cohen, the former vice president of the Trump Organization, said. 'See, this is the problem. It's never, ever Donald Trump. It's always somebody else.'

'It wasn't Donald Trump who had the affair,' he continued. 'It wasn't Donald Trump who directed me to make the payments to Stormy Daniels. It wasn't Donald Trump who got the benefit of the relationship and the actions. It was Michael Cohen. And I'm the bad guy into it. Why? Because I didn't take the fall.'

So, he said, when 'all of a sudden they turn around and start asking him about his tax returns or about the devaluation of the assets or the way that he took deductions,' he will say, 'I don't do my taxes. It's my accountant.'

'He's going to turn on his accountant and point the finger,' Cohen said, visibly surprising The ReidOut host. 'He's going to say 'Don Jr. handled that, Ivanka handled that. Melania. Don't take me. Take Melania!'

'He's going to tell them to take everyone except for himself.'
