    Remember that in 2000 the Taliban had reduced illegal opium production to almost zero. Remember that in September 2001, the Taliban offered to turn Bin Laden over to the World Court for trial but Bush turned the offer down and invaded instead. Remember that one of the first things US troops did in Afghanistan was guard the new poppy fields. Remember that the CIA has been caught multiple times smuggling drugs. Remember that the Bush family controlled the CIA.
