Joe Biden Says Texas Abortion “Heartbeat” Law Violates Constitutional Right Under Roe v. Wade

Joe Biden immediately came out and attacked Texas for its “heartbeat” abortion law.

The “heartbeat” law will effectively outlaw abortions in the state after 6 weeks and also gives any citizen – including those outside Texas – the right to take legal action against anyone who ‘aids and abets’ the termination of a pregnancy after the cut off point.

The Supreme Court did not respond to the ACLU’s lawsuit by the Tuesday night deadline.

The Marxists at the ACLU flipped out Tuesday night when the Supreme Court ignored their emergency request to block the 6-week abortion ban.

Joe Biden reacted to the “heartbeat” law quicker than he commented on 13 dead US service members.

Biden hid from the American people for 8 hours after 13 US service members were killed by a suicide blast in Kabul.

But he immediately released a statement on Texas’ new abortion bill.

That’s all you need to know about Joe Biden’s priorities.

“This extreme Texas law blatantly violates the constitutional right established under Roe v. Wade and upheld as precedent for nearly half a century,” Biden said in a statement on Tuesday.

  2. Joe, I hate to tell you this, and I'm sure you'll forget it within the next few seconds anyway, but a decree by a corrupt court isn't a "Constitutional Right" And while I'm on the subject, there ARE no "Constitutional Rights." There are natural rights that have been protected from abridgment by being written into the Constitution, but they're not granted by the Constitution, they're just protected.

And, from my careful reading of the Constitution, I'm not aware of any protection of a person's right to terminate the life of another living being. If there's anything to the contrary, please do inform me. But be careful when you knock on my door to give me the message--that door isn't locked to protect me, but to protect you.

  3. “Framing access to reproductive health care and bodily autonomy as eugenics exposes a fundamental misunderstanding of the racialized gender oppression on which antiabortionists stand. The truth is, the anti-abortion movement was born out of racist and xenophobic concerns about the falling white birth rate—echoes of which you will hear in today’s white supremacist rhetoric.”
    — Alexis McGill Johnson, President & CEO, Planned Parenthood Federation of America

This quotation came from the op-ed page of the Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago. Someone had written a piece criticizing Planned Parenthood. Not surprisingly, the president of the organization decided to respond by attacking the pro-life community with an outrageous accusation. Not only are her comments about the pro-life movement untrue, but she completely mischaracterizes the common understanding of eugenics.

Sanger shaped the eugenics movement in America and beyond in the 1930s and 1940s. Her views and those of her peers in the movement contributed to compulsory sterilization laws in 30 U.S. states that resulted in more than 60,000 sterilizations of vulnerable people, including people she considered ‘feeble-minded,’ ‘idiots’ and ‘morons.’
