NY: Yesterday’s COVID Heroes To Be Stripped Of Unemployment Benefits...May Be Replaced With Members of National Guard

The Left will fight to the death for a women’s rights to kill her children, but when it comes to the right of their fellow American to decide if they want a COVID vaccination that after only one year of being introduced, already needs a booster shot to effectively protect its recipient from the CCP virus—the Left believes they should have no such right.

Get a jab or pay.

First they shamed them.

That didn’t work.

Next, they threatened them.

That didn’t work.

So they took their ability to earn a living away from them.

And now, they’re planning to replace New Yorkers who refuse to comply with members of the US National Guard.

Are we still living in America?

New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who recently replaced Democrat serial sexual harasser Andrew Cuomo, and NYC’s communist Mayor DeBlasio are threatening to fire and then pull the plug on the unemployment benefits for NY state workers who refuse to get the jab by Monday—and that includes health care workers who only yesterday, were considered heroes.

Meanwhile, the number of  COVID cases, hospitalizations and COVID-related deaths in New York are on the decline.

Daily Mail reports- New York state workers who are fired for refusing to get vaccinated are not eligible for unemployment insurance, Gov. Kathy Hochul said on Saturday – just two days before the deadline for workers to get the jab.

New York City teachers and state health care workers in hospitals and nursing homes have to prove that they received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Monday.

The only exception to the vaccine mandate is a valid, doctor-approved request for medical accommodation.

The governor made the ramifications clear during Saturday’s announcement of a contingency plan to address potential staffing shortages in hospitals and other health care facilities statewide.

Hochul specifically referred to hospital workers, but New York City is bracing for a similar situation, with about 13 percent of roughly 78,000 teachers are currently not vaccinated, an education department official said on Twitter.

Western Journal– Members of the New York National Guard could be thrown into the breach once Monday’s health care worker vaccination deadline passes.

Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul said she is ready to declare a state of emergency in hospitals as a way to ensure that enough vaccinated workers can address critical needs, according to a release posted on the state’s website.

National Guard members with medical training could be deployed to hospitals that face shortages due to a large number of staff members who refuse to adhere to the state’s order to have at least one shot of a vaccine by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Hochul said.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said during a Thursday press conference that ‘thousands and thousands of vaccinated, experienced substitute teachers ready to go’ if unvaccinated teachers don’t show up for work.

Union leaders have called on the mayor to push back the deadline and slammed the band-aid approach of deploying substitutes as ‘irresponsible.’

But the potential drama was temporarily shelved late Friday night after a federal appeals judge blocked New York City schools from enforcing the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted a temporary injunction and referred the case to a three-judge panel an an expedited basis.

A resolution is expected by the end of the week.

The number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths in New York City are decreasing, according to the New York City health department.

The court case only applies to New York City teachers; state hospital workers still have to prove they’ve been vaccinated and will lose their unemployment health insurance if they’re fired for being unvaccinated.
